In the clip the music  is played by an orchestra this makes it feel big it creates suspense and tension thats is meant to be frightening .it is very effective and makes you want to watch the movie.

THE ROBBERY

So  its Friday evening and the bank had collected and stored the weeks takings in the vault, it amounted to £40 million.The robbery had been carefully planned by Clive. They steal a van big enough to take all the money but small enough to be quick around the streets, Johnny is in charge of the guns, and Berry is in charge of the get away vehicle

FLASHBACK

Berry is at the steering wheel of the van before the robbery  ( he is a snitch talking to the police telling them that the robbery is about to take place ).Clive and Johnny are at the bank waiting with a rucksack that they had smuggled in via an insider security guard that was working for them and would be paid off after the robbery.
Clive enters the bank first followed closely by johnny. Clive is the insider and says to the other workers that johnny is setting up an account in the bank and thats their excuse to get into the main office upstairs. they walk into the office they armed there guns and changed there clothes and prepared themselves for what is about to happen.
johnny has loaded all the guns ready for the robbery and he added some C4 for the vault. He had a inside man working in the bank so they didn't need to make a big scene or setting of the alarm which would alert the police. they had more time than they thought. They went to the managers office forced the door and put a gun to his head, " take us to the money now' they ordered .He got up and told all the staff to do as they were told so that it could be over soon.They walked to the vault were the money was stacked on a pallet.They quickly filled the bags then ran to the exit, all this time the alarm didn't go off because of there inside man they managed to keep it quiet.
As soon as they left the building the alarm went off os they had to get into the van and drive as fast as possible.
It all went very smoothly, a bit too smooth as there was no chase or anything ? Anyway they get back to the lockup and start to unload the loop when " get down on the ground and put your hands where we can see them"."We have been doubled crossed" says Clive its all over. They are taken to the police station where the story unfolds and the other guys find out that Berry is the snitch. You wont last in jail they warn him.Berry turns out to be an undercover FBI agent who wouldn't be going to jail at all rather on to the next case which was on the other side of the country.
You can never fully trust anyone when you live in the under world..

1  What went well

The recording process went very well i understood the routing and i got good signals into the software mixer this helped when it came to mixing down the finished recording

it was good to place different microphones on the drums and see the different levels from each mic
i managed to get a good  separation from each mic that meant there was not too much noise spill from each mic this also made it easier to mix

2 what would you improve

I would spend more time on choosing the microphones for each job so i would test the microphones to make sure i got the best sound possible for each instruments, also i would like to spend more time comparing the different sound and quality between the condenser and the dynamic microphone.

I would need to spend time learning how to use the the software to improve on my mixing skills
at all times i had to make sure that i worked within the health and safety guidelines making sure all wires were safely put out of harms way and keeping the sound levels within safe levels, also we took plenty of breaks to avoid getting tired or straining our eyes...
